Contribute Data

Help grow the Karen Dictionary’s coverage and quality. We welcome word lists, example sentences, corrections, and metadata.

What to include

  • Format: CSV/TSV/XLSX/JSON (UTF-8). Columns like word, part_of_speech, meaning, example, source.
  • Language tags: If bilingual, add lang (e.g., ksw, en, my).
  • Attribution: Cite dictionary/source name and year if known.
  • License: Share terms (e.g., CC BY-SA, CC0), or state “permission required”.

What happens next

  • We validate encoding, normalize fields, and de-duplicate entries.
  • Contributions are queued for review with quality checks and tests.
  • Approved data is merged in a future release with changelog notes.
